About the neighborhood

The 20th arrondissement is one of Paris's most vibrant and authentic districts. Straddling Belleville, Ménilmontant and Gambetta, it's a creative, cosmopolitan corner of the city with a genuine village feel — winding streets, local bistros, and a scene that ranges from award-winning pizza to world-class cocktail bars. Less touristy than the centre, more interesting for it.
